Terms and Conditions - Movers Man with Van
1. Introduction
Welcome to Movers Man with Van. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our moving services. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
2. Definitions
- Service Provider: Movers Man with Van and its affiliates.
- Customer: The individual or entity booking our moving services.
- Agreement: This set of Terms and Conditions.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process
To initiate a move, customers must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process. This includes details such as move date, origin, destination, and the nature of items to be moved.
3.2 Payment Terms
Payments are due in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All transactions are secure and protected.
4. Service Terms
4.1 Availability
Our services are available 7 days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. However, availability may vary based on location and season. We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability on your preferred date.
4.2 Service Limitations
While we strive to handle all items with care, certain limitations apply:
- We do not transport hazardous materials.
- Valuables such as jewelry, cash, and important documents should be kept with the customer.
- Fragile items should be properly packed and labeled.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Preparation for Moving
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items are ready for transportation on the agreed-upon date. This includes disassembling furniture, packing belongings securely, and labeling boxes appropriately.
5.2 Access to Property
The customer must provide clear access to both the origin and destination properties. This includes ensuring that pathways are free from obstructions and that parking spaces are available for the moving vehicle.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total service cost.
6.2 Rescheduling Policy
Customers may reschedule their move up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without incurring additional charges. Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours may be subject to availability and additional fees.
7. Liability and Insurance
Movers Man with Van is committed to providing reliable and safe moving services. However, we are not liable for:
- Damage to items due to improper packing by the customer.
- Loss or damage arising from natural disasters or unforeseen events.
- Delays caused by factors beyond our control.
We offer optional insurance coverage for your belongings. It is recommended that customers consider purchasing additional insurance for valuable items.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Movers Man with Van operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that area.
9. Amendments to Terms
Movers Man with Van reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
11. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Movers Man with Van regarding the use of our services. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking and utilizing the services of Movers Man with Van, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
